			<title>Title: Pilot Project (“Disaster Reduction Technology List on Implementation Strategies”, January 2005) posted in the DRH Project (Phase-I) page</title>

			<description>The entire volume of “Disaster Reduction Technology List on Implementation Strategies” was posted in the DRH Project page (Phase I section) at ( http://drh.edm.bosai.go.jp/Project/Phase1/Japan_List/Contents.htm ). The book was published as a contribution from Japan to the United Nations World Conference on Disaster Reduction (WCDR), Hyogo-Kobe, January 2005. The volume played a role of a “Pilot Project” that lead to the DRH Project. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The Pilot Project book contains 42 disaster reduction technologies that were developed under the leadership of Japanese institutions. Some of them were re-organized as DRH Contents. 			<title>IHP-DRH Workshop uploaded</title>

			<description>Dear DRH members and visitors, &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The records of the IHP Flood Project - DRH Implementation Workshop (IHP-DRH Workshop), Wuhan, China, 3 November 2009 has been posted on the DRH Project page of the DRH web site. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The Workshop was to promote DRH involvement in the UNESCO's IHP (International Hydrology Program) Flood Project, in which the mission of DRH is to take a role of information dissemination of outputs from the IHP Flood Project for implementation in practice for disaster risk reduction.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The objectives of the Workshop were 1) mutual understanding between IHP and DRH members, 2) establishing a consensus on the significance of IHP and DRH incorporation, 3) clarifying R&amp;D status, and 4) developing action plans towards the DRH Contents compilation from the IHP Flood Project.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;All presentations and outcomes from the Workshop are downloadable in pdf files. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Please visit them through the DRH top page (http://drh.edm.bosai.go.jp/ )and DRH Project pages, or directly at http://drh.edm.bosai.go.jp/Project/post/en/events/24_IHP_DRH_Wuhan/24_IHP_DRH_WS_agenda.htm &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;With best regards.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Hiroyuki Kameda, DRH Project PI and DRH Manager&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;25 November 2009&lt;br&gt;</description>

			<description>Call for DRH Contents proposals (Ver.3-1) has been uploaded. The page is reachable either directly from the DRH top page or via DRH Project page.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;As the DRH websystem is being enhanced, the Call document will be subject to version change in future.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Note, however, that the updated version of the DRH Template (ver.7.1) is to be used solidly after this. </description>

In order to make your DRH Contents conform with the DRH contest, it is likely that you receive requests from the DRH Facilitators for improvement of your manuscript. Please log-in in the DRH website, and enter DRH Forum. You can see your proposal posted. In case you have Facilitators' requests, you find it in &quot;Facilitators' Comments&quot; in the discussion screen. Please respond to it using comment boxes.
